    Bowling Gear Sale

Hey guys, Selling the rest of my gear. I've been trying to get back into bowling after long term back injuries but just isn't working. Prices are negotiable, moving soon so would be nice to get them going quickly. I don't have any boxes so prefer a local sale for the balls. AMF The Heist -...

    world-bowling-group-to-explore-alternative-scoring system

Jim, the tournament won't allow any 2 handed bowlers. Regarding, the whole banning reactives. It will never happen, just like PGA won't ban ridiculous drivers and and advanced iron sets. Like, with golf. The only solution is separating the men from the boys with harder patterns, heavier...

    world-bowling-group-to-explore-alternative-scoring system

It's an interesting concept. It certainly could work. I like the scoring system. I'd love to bowl a league of it. As far as letting go of the 300, it's already gone anyways. 900 is the new 300.

    Moving from 15 - 14lb - Any takers?

After taking a 4 month break due to back issues, I decided to return to the lanes and drop from 15 - 14lb to see if it helps. I had my first 14 drilled today and not only did it not cause my back any grief. I was amazed at the extra control, consistent release, my aiming seemed more accurate...

Roto Grip Roto Grip - Asylum

Hey Everyone, After yet another break due to back problems I have returned to the lanes. I decided that I would take the plunge to 14lb territory. Had yet another ball drilled by Michael at Ballistic Revs who has never led me astray. What I wanted, was a new benchmark ball for the standard...

Building an Effective Arsenal – Part 3 Posted by Tye on May 15, 2013 Just like having a variety of core types and layouts, having a variety of surfaces is essential to covering your bases when it comes to adjusting to different lane conditions. In this case, I’m not talking about the roughness...

Building an Effective Arsenal – Part 2 Posted by Tye on May 14, 2013 The other half of the equation of ball dynamics is the core type itself. Different layouts do different things, but having the right variety of core types is also important in making sure you can handle whatever is thrown at...

Building an effective arsenal – Part 1 Posted by Tye on May 14, 2013 With CNC’s just around the corner, and several conversations relating to this topic in the last few days, I felt like it would be a good idea to put down in writing a lot of what I say when it comes to selecting equipment. Of...

    Lateral Adjustments

From Bowling.About.Com One of the simplest and most effective ways to adjust to lane conditions is making a side-to-side (or lateral) adjustment. This means shifting your starting position either left or right and changing nothing else. How to Identify A Need to Move You’ll know when...
