Don't believe all you are told!

...and there you have the answer. As with anything else, do your own research. Explore all possible options open to you and work out which best fits in with your circumstances/requirements. Old Chinese proverb: "man who sits with mouth open waiting for roast duck to fly in will wait long time".

    Low Energy globes

Hey Regarding low-energy, fluoro light globes. I noticed an article in The Australian Financial Review Magazine (June 2009 edition, page 64) reported that these globes are not as eco-friendly as we have been led to believe because they contain four milligrams of highly toxic mercury...

    bowling centre obligations

I would have thought the bowling centre's obligations were to provide a safe and hazard free environment to their patrons, comply with all OH&S requirements and standards and act in a legal manner at all times. Everything else is negotiable.

    15LB Ebonite Clash

It's an offer over $40 dude. I got too many 15lb balls already so I'm unlikely to outbid him (unless you post a photo of the drilling and it looks like something I can re-use).

    Where to get a ball...

If you're serious about bowling I reckon the most useful thing to buy first is a pair of shoes rather than a ball as that way you have a solid foundation every week. If you rely on house shoes you could have slippery soles one week, shoes that stick the next week or maybe a pair where one does...

New forum idea - Proshop reviews

Didn't we have a score table for drillers a while back? Maybe this just needs updating. As to pro shop reviews, if people start posting reviews for their preferred pro shop wouldn't those that support the online proshop section on this site get a tad annoyed?

How bowling is seen by the general public in Australia as a sport

I reckon it's just where you're at with the game. You go and play Tennis with a buddy - maybe keep a proper score, maybe not. Perhaps you go play football with a few friends - just for a kick around etc. For most people this is the way it is. Maybe though, from those beginnings, someone...

Research: What's your preferred soft drink?

I voted for Solo but that's assuming the Lemon flavour. Either that or Kirks as both have quite a zappy taste.

    MS Excel 2000 help

Why would you want to do it on one cell? Seems to me you are unnecessarily complicating the issue. Edit: I would do a 3x3 table. A * B = C, X * Y = Z, C + Z = whatever. This way you can change the figues easily without editing formulae each week.
