Yep James I remember those days being a junior then was fantastic. We had so many exceptional talents then and rolling off for the ACT and Southern NSW sheild side was tough. Had around 30 juniors competing to make the team and I'll bet the numbers aren't anything like that now for most states...

Cmon guys we're supposed to be encouraging ppl to bowl and talking about these costs is just scary. There'll be no one wanting to bowl after seeing these figures. But in all seriousness I agree that TBA must find a way to assist bowlers (especially in state teams) with travel costs

It ain't easy being a bowler in WA or NT is it. :p Maybe one day in nthe near or far away future things will get more feasible for us. Until then I guess we have to suck it up and work with what we have got.
