Congratulations to Garry Simpson and Emma Groves on winning the South Queensland State Champs Restricted Masters tournaments last night.

Garry, who bowls at Chermside, qualified number 1, and in the last 3 game final, averaged 224 from a 180 average. Ross Patching (Strathpine?) ran second.

Emma, in her first major tournament, won by 30 pins from Wendy Grundon, and averaged 140 from a 119 average.

Well bowled everyone, the finals were bowled in great spirit.

Marto.

Congratulations to Garry and Emma on your wins. You both bowled well and deserved it!!

Congrats Garry! Great bowling, I enjoyed watching you kick butt buddy.

Might I add this was his first tournament ever!!

Would be nice if you can apply these skills back on a Monday night........ Just a thought. We could swap averages after that effort. Well done again.

Also congrats to Emma!

Does it really matter who qualified where, give credit where it is due..., there isn't enough of that lately.
