As suggested the dates advertised for the Western Open have been changed as to not clash with Brando's Tournament.
The new date will be the 2nd of October. With a win a spot tournament being held at Richlands on the 10th July.
For all Information on this Tournament ring Richlands on 3375 1166.
As the flyers for the Grand Prix Circuit have
already gone to print the Western Open original date is still on all the flyers, please disregard the date and keep in mind the new date of October the 2nd.
Also the date for The Capalaba Cup was suggested to be moved so as not to clash with the Century 21 in Townsville it has been decided however to leave this date as originally advertised on the 13th November.
Cheers

dufus could you please look into why you would change the western open dates so that it now clashes with the sport series at mt warren on the 1st and 2nd of october!!! :( :(

not sure graham but to move a tourny not to clash with brando's is a good idea but to move it so it clashes with another isn't.

yet again the other events dont count? Why would anyone with half a brain move an event so as not to clash to a weekend that it does clash!!!
And then not move another event that does as well. Come on guys there are two other weekends in october free and two in november free. Remember we are trying to grow in this sport, try and help by opening up peoples options. Just my opinion.

Once again changing the date for the Western Open at Richlands. Firstly there was no mention on the TBAQ Tournament Calendar that the Sports Series would also run on the 2nd October that is why that date was picked, however as a result of the elegant way it was brought to our attention it has been decided to put forth the date of 7th August ( we know it clashes with Mackay Open) as a possible date to hold this tournament, feed back i am sure is on the way.
If the people who are vocal on the date selection of tournaments had any Idea as to how difficult it is to select a date that doesn't clash with other events and then also to be able to fit it into each centres calendar of events within their centre (Juniors, disabilities, seniors, Twin tour, State, Zone, Brisbane championships, Sports Series, Ropll offs, C TO C, Touring Leagues, inter centre challenges, in house tournaments, super six, ranked tournaments.) would not be so one eyed into thinking that their catagory is the only one worth any weight.
We are all here to promote all levels of Bowling whether it be from a centres perspective or an athletes perspective if we support each other and work together, instead of posting non productive feedback, the winner will be Tenpin Bowling.
