Hey matt,

Great to see the numbers increasing! If you dont already have my TBA number it is :6-047-0158

As for the formation of an association, did we get anywhere after the first event? If not then it seems we need to organise a date and time for a meeting and start something, I would be happy to help if it is needed!

Hi Everyone

Well i think that today was a HUGE success for the series with 41 bowlers turning up.

Congratulations going to Chris Watson who won this event. A big congrats must also go to Michael Muir who came in 2nd to Chris after the repecharge game in the stepladder. Michael also put on a great display of bowling in the step ladder finals by bowling 906 in his 4 games.

Thanks must certainly go to the sponsors for this event, in Parview Luxury Apartments, QLD, Southside Mitsubishi and Aussie Home Loans Belmont, for their generous contributions to the event.

Attached is a copy of the final results for all to see.

Once again, congratulations to my brother, CHRIS WATSON on winning the 2nd stop on the 2007 WA Sports Series.

Videos of all 3 step ladder matches should be available soon

I have just finished the 1st match and am uploading now. :)

Congrats to Chris, Muir, Ballsy, Sheedy and John for their efforts today. That Chameleon patter was a real tough one, well done guys!

Well done Chris!

The scores show these patterns are the best way to test ones ability to adjust to transition with speed, loft and rotational adjustments, as well as line and projection movements. Guys that do well on these patterns can hold their heads up high and know that they have truely earned the scores shot!

Also, Looks like Matty is doing an awesome job with the events over WA. People should really take note at the effort put in, and continue to support these events!

Well done guys!

Firstly congratulations to Chris on his win on the weekend holding off WA's premier player Mick Muir in two close games. Great turnout again with 41 bowlers showing up thanks mainly to all Matty's hard work. Its not easy running these sorts of things as I'm sure Mat is finding out but as long as the bowlers keep showing up makes his job alot easier. Actually "increasing""the prize fund is almost unheard of. As for the condition well it certainly was something I wasnt used to (hence game 2) but managed to eek out a couple of good games to squeak into 5th place. Not a fan of the second chance for top qualifier perhaps a little extra bonus would suffice but we'll see where it goes. Next one is at Craigie but falls on a long weekend so maybe moving it to the following weekend might be better. All in all a great days bowling and well done to all involved really enjoyed it.
