Seem to remember I didnt need the 21 handicap to win the scratch division.
You would have got a mention if you bowled reverse hook I suppose.

Well computer virus is gone and all the make up games are done so apologies for the delay but that modern technology.
Here are the results for rounds 16 & 17 including another 1,000 series by Brenton Manning which was worth $1,000 for his third.
Louise Ingoe nearly got her second but had to settle for a 999 and a big win over Sam Parrella.
There has been at least 4 people indicating they want to join the league next season - for you info we are looking at starting the week after Easter.
Plus we will be announcing another big prize to dangle in front of those people who think they can handle pressure ??? more news soon...

Well it's getting back to those days with a $1,000 prize going off each week
Tony Stoppel bowled another very nice 1,000 series and collects his 2nd $1,000 prize
Tony has now bowled 4 x 1,000 series and even if he stops now he collects $3,000 bonus + $4000 for 1st and extra couple of hundred for his weekly totals ???

The bonus prize money which is paid regardless of the normal prize fund now reached over $7,500
No 1,000 series this week but Dion Alexander gave it a good go with a 979 series

Well a very mixed result across the house tonight but Dion played out a nice 1003 series to stake his claim on a bonus prize of $500 and taking the total to an amazing total of $7,000 and an impressive 11 series of more than a thousand for the league.

Yes $30,000 is what we will be close to paying out in season 31 of the Vili's Super League in a few weeks.
With bonus payments of nearly $8,000 made up of the various awards plus the regular prize money we will go very close to the $30,000.... not bad for a league of 24 bowlers playing one round ?
Tony Stoppel nearly put another $1,000 away this week but his last game of 279 had a 983 series leaving him 17 pins short.
The league average over the 2108 games is currently sitting at 199.46 with 2 weeks left we could make the magic 200.
We have 1 round left before the positional round.
This will leave us the TV series bowl off for a bonus $2,000 of which once again the top 5 will have automatic entry and a roll off for the 6th spot will take place just prior. This is scheduled to take place at Cross Road at 12 noon Saturday the 28th March or Saturday 4th April. (awaiting confirmation)
The next season "32" will commence straight after Easter on Monday 20th April at 6.15pm................... thinking of playing let us know ASAP

Just following up my email last night on the TV games.
Speaking with Tony today we have confirmed that the TV bowl off will take place on Saturday 4th April
I have to confirm the lanes are available with centre but as per last season at 12 noon all the players from 6th down will bowl one game to decide who gets the final place in the TV series.
That person will draw for a opponent from the top 5 and so on through till the final 2 play for the $1500 bonus cheque or $500 for the runner up.
This is an additional payout to whatever you collect from the normal league play.
