Hey Scoops

Well done in the Bahrain tournament, you certainly showed them whose boss! lol

Anyway, back to the WA President Shield Trials, I heard from Matthew Armstrong who is also participating in this years trials that there are 30 boys trying to make the WA team this year. As for the girls, I that was it from what Toni Woodcock posted earlier yesterday. Surely another update will be on the forum later today as they are bowling in Bunbury. Long way to go but I guess you have to go where the tournament is being held to have a chance of making the WA side.

Good luck to everyone!!

Thanks Danni

But along way to go and alot of the best are yet to come - So will be just trying to hang in the TOP 23

Yes hoping to see the Bunbury results

Would also be nice to get a break down from the Tournament Committee of how many bowlers from what centres they reside at etc etc

Whens the next w/end is this one coming up?

Good luck - Enjoy it!!

If you want to have a look at all game scores and standings from the last 2 days of play head over to AMF Craigie Bowl and click on Tournaments and follow the link to President Sheild standings.

dude, look at the above, notice anything unusual? why walk to town when u can catch the bus?

I reckon if you wanted the definition of a "loser",it would have to be Homer Simpsons quote:-
"trying, is the first step to failure"
Id get rid of that sign off real fast if i were you Flaming Ace.

and why should i do that? just cause you don't like it, i happen to like it, i don't exactly stand by it, but i think it is a good quote all the same, so thank you for your imput mr i-know-best, but i will stay with it.

Trying is the first step towards failure, and many failures build experience, and with experience you can create success.
So just keep trying.

Hmm. Is that related to President Shield Trials?

hmmm a very valid point by westie, what does this thing with my signature have to do with the shield?? any way ciao for now, till saturday, and watch out, because the flaming-ace is gonna kick some ass!!! whooo hah!!

Hey All.

Thax shane for posting the results of stage one. Also, congrats to the top 16 boys and 9 girls who made it thru, you guys all bowled really well. Although Bunbury was a bit of a travel, I watched as people just had fun. Congrats to all and we'll see you all on saturday
