Hi everyone......

We have been given to opportunity to fill Mt Gravatt if we have the numbers..... which means we can have as many as 90 bowlers in the league, and only 3 per lane to participate.
As the start time for this league is 8 pm, there will be no holdups...or overlaps with any other league still to finish. So come on lets get togherther and boost the numbers.........Much bigger prize money if we do..

Any word yet on whether this league is going to offer cash prizes for high games? What is the points format going to be? I only just realised it was a handicap league, are there still points for scratch? Be great to findout what high game prizes are on offer as I cant decide between this league and the Cannon Hill one!

The points system so far looks like being 1 point for scratch and 1 for handicap per game and per series head to head.
as for games from 280 - 299 we are looking at further sponsorship to try and allocate something for them. At this stage we are not sure on what.

obviously the more bowlers we get the more bargaining power we have and the more money in the prize fund which all goes straight back to the bowlers

Can we make 60 before Christmas?
 
Looks like a good league if only it was hcap points and not made easier for high average scratch bowlers to win scratch points. Bowlers like George would be mad not bowl in it and clean up.
 
Please put my name down to bowl this league, 1st time at an AMF centre, why not......... never know your luck in a big city :D

Please confirm the payout asap Elite, I'd be keen to see it
 
Sean, you should put your name down too, the more the merrier. I don't believe the points system has been finalised as yet, and I am sure this will be open for discussion during the first week when the constitution is formed. I would personally like to see the fairest point system possible, of which giving out scratch points does not necessarily achieve. At the end of the day however, it will come down to what everyone in the league collectively decides on.

I look forward to seeing your name (and others, including my brother's name :-k) on the list in the near future.
