Longest wait for 300

Started 1985 had a 297 in 1995 . Got my chance in 2004 and bowled a 299 thought my chance was gone but low and behold 4 games later got the perfecto . 19 years way too long . Cheers Ralph.

254 average back in 63 certainly shows that you could bowl. I certainly hope I am not in the same position as you in another 24 years. I'm in my 23rd year of competitive bowling without cracking the 300. Had a 290 in my regular practice session earlier this year and have bowled a 279 in a tournament but never had 12 in one game as yet.

UPDATE:
Still not there, 289 last night ( 9 at both ends) and 749 Series. Getting a bit harder though. Am over 75, and have torn ligaments in bowling shoulder - - but - - Next week !. It would probably be OK to get one now, I think my 'longest wait' record is safe ??
