Help With Brands of Shoes

Hey i am in the market for a pair of shoes, i have never bought a pair before. My budget would be up to $120 at the most. I was wondering what the best brand of shoe there is?? or if anyone could recommend me a pair. My main concern is how they would fit for width, with shoes i get from the alley, they are always too narrow. In normal shoes i always take the 4e (extra wide) ones.
