Country Cup 2009

3 more sleeps and we're out o' here :)

Paige, I would definately avoid the wrath of Mrs Farky, so we will see you on Monday at presentations ;)

Tracey, I have saved Jess's signed declaration from last year, and considering she was awarded Vic Tenpins Junior Female Bowler of the Year '08 at the Championships in Werribee. She has alot to live up too, but i'm sure she will be up to it

NO NAT!!!! Who am I gunna tell 'shut up' all weekend

We have our practice session booked for 3.30pm Friday, plenty of time for socialising afterwards :p

Travel Safely everyone.

Yes Yes Yes, our practice is booked at about 4 so we can socialise together, our mens team is on the second floor of the sleeping place so we can bowl balls down the stairs at you guys!

I might have, I am sure it is the camera angle, although Cricket is the only sport I know of that you can actually tub up during the season!
Doesnt bode well seeing as I have retired for the fourth time from Football...:(

Hey Lisa, can you tell us if the little oompa loompa is coming to watch or staying home to prepare the new babys room?

I know...I really should think before I open my mouth or post....but what fun would that be?? ;)

If you see me drop do a commando roll and crawl along the floor, Tracey must be within sight.... :D

The excitement is building.....:groupwave2:

Deano is staying home Jase, fortunately for Jackie. I'd hate for him to injure his knee running onto the approach and planting one on you, she would have his guts for garters.

Open Question.
I have some ideas and a small change for the MVP award this year.

Paige was good enough to send me her suggestion, not a bad one.
Doesn't matter, I'm not taking any notice of what she said :p;) (we've spoken, it's all good).

As an open question to the Country Cup playing TB Community, any last minute suggestions on what the masses would like to see done with any prizes that may (or may not) be taken to Albury?

I'm not saying any changes to our plans will be implmented this year, but none the less, those involved do care to ask what do the bowlers want.

Cheers
David

Kev - I can see your concern over no practice lanes - you spent so much time over there the last couple of years :D

Ouch.....bit of fuel for that fire.

Hey Jase never hiding m8 only lurking :p

Thought there was something suspect with you on the weekend. Hope Suzie gets onto this straight away.:p

So bowling is good for keeping the weight off then:D
Worked for Wozza I supose;)

I know...I really should think before I open my mouth or post....

No comment on this one....just thought I would highlight it so Paige would not forget it.

Dave,

So far we have had nothing but very deserving winners of the MVP. Not sure what changes you are thinking of but I see it as an easy, transparent system that seems to work.

Only idea I would suggest is maybe something along the lines of sportsmanship but that is a hard one to work out and everyone will differ on their opinions.

Kev, I have 4 other room mates, variety is the spice of life they say................

Jase, we'll all chip in and buy you a slab for a belated wedding present, you can polish that off friday night so you are at your best for Saturday morning.. I hear that woza wants you to drink up and be merry all weekend.

Is there an award for No.1 Bunny?

Not so much a fan of sportsmanship awards, just makes it into a popularity contest and a mooshy love fest......... yuk.
And besides there is only a handfull of real sportspeople between us all anyway so would be the same winners each year.....

Only a slab - amateurs even the distinguished gentlemen from Albury know better than that

Last time Jase went dry it wasnt pretty. It is obviously harder to hit 10 pins when you can only see 10 pins instead of 20
