Changes to Team Manager Course Requirements

At the recent Coaching and Officiating Conference the following changes have been made for this course in consultation with the ASC Officiating representative.

• Bowler Proficiency Certificate is no longer a pre-requisite course for a Team Manager Course participant
  
• Participants in the course must be no younger than 18years of age at the time they sit the course (formerly 21 years)
  
• State/Territory Associations will fully assume any duty of care issues if a Manager under 21 years of age is appointed.
  
• It is a recommendation that a newly qualified Team Manager act as an Assistant State Team Manager or a Manager of a Country Cup, Association Challenge Team or similar prior to being appointed as a State Team Manager. The State/Territory Associations can decide on this as part of their advertised criteria or duty statement.
