Any reason for the split day for qualifying - If you are travelling back to Adelaide seems a waste of money if you don't make the cut.

Would it not make sense to just bowl 12 games or 10 games on Qualifying on Saturday then cut.

Dave we always use to have 2 day qualifying which was very successful.
Make a weekend off it, we'll try and organize something for Saturday night.

Like Tony said Dave we used to have 2 blocks of 6 games years ago. We seem to need a change as numbers have been dropping off over the last 3-4 years. If this year is a failure because of it we will have to try something else. Like Tony said make a weekend out of it. We are trying to organize some sort of social function Saturday night for those staying up there for Saturday night. If you get 2-3 guys sharing a motel room its not going to cost that much extra.
