The new season of the Western Suburbs League at Sunshine is commencing next Wednesday night (15/10) and yes the league is still going strong and still bowling at Sunshine proudly.
At current we have 10 teams of 5 with a new starting time of 8.30pm (lanes will be on practice at 8.15). The league season at current is based as 30 weeks (3 rounds and a 3 week finals system)
Cost of bowling is $25.00 per bowler and the league is sanctioned with the MTBA.
At the moment we have 2 team requiring bowlers (1 team needing 1 full time bowler & another team requiring 2 full time bowlers)
Handicapping is based 90% of 220.
The Western Suburbs League has a very proud history and will continue to go strong with bowlers ongoing support.
Anyone interested in joining the league either as a single bowler to join one of the current teams or if you have a team of your own please contact AMF Sunshine on 9311-5799, any staff member will be happy to help out.
