Hello to all Queensland bowlers and supporters-
For those of you who may not be aware, the TBA National Championships are currently being held at Mt Gravatt bowl.
Tomorrow sees the start of the National Seniors Challenge, a three day event which sees Australia's finest senior bowlers pitted against each other in an FIQ type competition of singles, doubles and 4 person teams.....and Queensland is fortunate enough to be fielding two teams.
Please, if you are without the shackles of work, and have time on your hands over the next 3 days, come on down to Mt Gravatt and lend your support and your voices to the Queensland Seniors.....you will see some great competition, and the guys and gals would appreciate it!!
Singles competition starts tomorrow, with the gentlemen bowling 6 games from 9.30, and then the ladies start around 1.30pm. Thursday is doubles, ladies first at 9am, then the gentlemen at 1.30, and Friday both genders bowl together in the teams event, commencing at 9am.
Mary Blackmore, Mary Flower, Ann Kirby, Gale Heley, Brian Looby, Geoff Ott, Jagga Morgan, Jim Murray, Narelle Qualischefski, Shirley Lawton, Coral Haworth, Karen Gill, Steve Meskell, Lawrie Hill, Vaughan White and Mike Sullivan - all proud Queensland Senior Bowlers, and all ready to do their bit for their state.....join us at Mt Gravatt, and help to cheer them home!!
