To all Coaches in the TBAQ Coach network

TBAQ are requesting expressions of interest from any coach who would consider being a coach for one of the 4 Rachuig teams to represent Qld in the 2009 Rachuig season. The Adult National Championships are in Brisbane (AMF Mt Gravatt) from the 17th October to the 25th October 2009 inclusive.

TBAQ would also like to have expressions of interest from those coaches who would like to occupy an assistant coaches position under the direction of the State Coaching Director. The assistant coach may be a Level 1 coach who aspires to L2 in the near future.

Details of the Coaching position offered this year for the designated coach will also include the role of selector together with the State Coaching Director Gail Torrens.

Criteria of selection will be posted to the nominating coach prior to the roll offs. Expression of interest are to be received by email to Gail Torrens at [email protected] by Wednesday the 17th December 2008.

The representative coaches will be required to attend both roll offs – both in South Qld on the 31st January and 1st February 2009 at Mt Gravatt lanes (Brisbane) as well as the NQ roll off which will be on the 21st and 22nd February 2009 at Innisfail Bowl (North Qld).

The coaches travel expenses will be paid for at both the roll off processes in SQ as well as NQ.

TBAQ are also calling for nominations from Managers for all 4 teams.

The Bowler Selection criteria that the coaches will use will be following the selection guidelines as directed by the Australian Institute of Sport and will include the results of the 20 game format on the dates as advertised as well as other defined attributes. The criteria of selection will be advertised to all bowlers prior to the roll off also.

Please email your expression of interest together with a brief resume – TBAQ are keen to train coaches into these positions and encourage as many coaches as possible to apply.

Deadline for nominations Wednesday 17th December 2008 .
