GREAT NEWS EVERYBODY!
Brunswick Bowling Supplies, along with Orange TenPin Bowl, have kicked in an extra $1,200 to the prize fund for the 2005 BMW NSW Country Open.
Now, finishing positions 21-32 at the tournament's completion will each get $100 prize money!
Therefore, the prize fund now reads :-
$1000 for 1st (plus Trophy, Shift, free entry to the 2006 Open)
$850 for 2nd,
$800 for 3rd
4th through 18th will get between $700 (4th) and $195 (18th)
down to $190 each for 19th and 20th
.. and now
$100 each for positions 21-32!
So, all you gotta do now is make the top 32 after qualifying. This will get you an extra 6 games of bowling (and possibly more if you make the Top 16), plus at least $100 back.
Remember, this is based on 50 entries, so the more entries .. the better!
And based on 50 entries, this is a 2 in 3 payout .... with 2 in 5 getting their entry back! That would compare better to just about any other tournament around !!
And Ladies, please don't forget.
As advertised, the highest non-cashing female bowler also gets $100. That is unchanged despite the extra $'s now put in for 21st-32nd.
The tournament is this coming weekend, Sat+Sun 23-24APR. It's the long weekend, so you can take it easy and have a great weekend.
There are limited spots left. There's still a couple of spots in Squad 2, and a few more in Squad 1.
