Good to see some good, consistent bowling by our junior boys, BUT, heed my warning, lets see what those scores are like after bowling on an 2:1 pattern with no area (complete opposite to moonahs ditch) at Launceston in 2 weeks time. We will soon see who can roll the ball the same, hit the same target on the lane and, who has got good speed control to over come a very tough and challenging pattern. My bet is that the overall averages of the top 7 will drop by at least 10 pins. Any takers??
Pls don't take this as putting anyone down or bagging anyone out because of the way they bowled on the pattern they were handed, just be prepared for what you may not be used too.

Yeh I get it.
I guess the guys that can handle the Launceston conditions as well will prove to be the better bowlers

Gus,

I highly doubt ur goin 2 get any takers on that!!! u only hav 2 look at the league averages of urself, cricky and bboy over the past few months .... they would be lucky 2 hold them averages up here!!! (having said that, they do seem to hav improved a little of late .... but not enough 2 stop the averages from dropping when the boys come 2 lonny. No one is safe in that 7, cos if u get it wrong up here lately u could lose a hell of a lot of pins in a hurry from some1 who's going ok!!!

Having said all that, good luck 2 all the boys ... specially the lonny ones!!!

As you can see from the scores, it was a very exciting finish with 4 bowlers fighting it out for the final 2 places in the last game. Adam Reeve showed great composure under pressure to finish with a 234 to take the sixth spot. Adam's twin brother Joel, then had to close the last frame to make the team by 4 pins.

The girls did not roll off as only 7 nominations were received. The team is Anita Brunacci, Kara Bunting, Melanie Collins,Stacey Dare, Amy Furley, Sara Hyland & Emma Tubb.

Congratulations to all bowlers and good luck in Bankstown in July.

Sorry Kara, we were obviously typing our posts at the same time.

You must be the quickest typist out of the 2 of us, you won by 12 minutes
