hi all , after another testing condition and a long day i would like to thank brian bates and all the staff at caboolture bowl for running another good tournament.we started out thinking that we would be lucky to get 18 bowlers last week we thought we might just get 24 then today we end up with 32!!! thank you to all the bowlers i hope you enjoyed the condition .

the results were good and i think fair for eveyone lefties,righties,crankers and strokers evryone seemed to have a shot if they were good enough.

andrew drew also pickup the $25 for the high ave. 16 bowlers out of 32 pickup money(over $900 paid out) and as you can see there were some high games and to both andrew and rob well done you both bowled very well.

i am sorry for the late finish but i didn't count on 32 bowlers showing up for a skins but i will learn from that for the next one.i would like to hear what you all thought of the condition wether it is good or bad , we need the feed back so we can learn from this tournament.

Obviously George scooped the pool, but you've got to be in it...... and George was in nearly all of them.

It's nice to see some new people having a go at this, seems like the word is getting around that you can win a bit of extra cash this way.

Brackets are always a bit of fun on the side, you forgot to mention there was an extra $264 paid out to bowlers who participated in the brackets during the day. Like you said, you have to be in them to win them, I outlayed $33 to win $88, not bad odds, and always good way to pick up some cash.

The only thing we have to learn in Australia is to play multiple brackets, like instead of going in just 2-3 go in 8-10 based on different draws. The more brackets your in the more money you can make (and lose if you bowl bad).
