South Queensland Hold Narrow Lead after Rachuig Day 1

South Queensland, in their first Rachuig since Queensland split into North and South, are leading the Walter Rachuig Trophy tournament being held Kirwan Bowl in Townsville.

South Queensland are currently first on 53.5 points overall, with New South Wales on .5 behind on 53 points, and the hosts North Queensland 3rd on 52.5 points.

New South Wales are leading the Mens division, with Captain Andrew Frawley leading the way of all bowlers with a 237.0 average. North Queensland Women are leading their divsion, with New South Wales Amanda Bradley heading the averages with a 224.3 average.


The tournament continues today with a further 6 games being bowled, and concludes tomorrow with the final 6 games.
