Hello

i am wondering if there is going to be any scores on a website or something like that for both of the events?

thank you

usually the mckenna family put a link on there website for this. more than likely they will post the link on here otherwise i am sure someone else will

I haven't been able to find any results. It's a bit of a shame really, was quite interested to know what was going on up there this year.

I am the same as you Tim, have looked at the website, searched all the leagues and there is nothing there.

Pitty would of like to have seen how all the juniors were bowling.

Show's sometimes how much we all, myself included, like viewing the live scores.

I have news on who is winning youth, via someone up there......
Mt Warren boys 5th place and girls 1st place and overall 1st...24 points ahead of the next place
Team is Michelle Oberman, Becky Manderson, Kelly Norton & Rachel Wingett
Boys Adam, Matt, Dean, ?

All I know in the Juniors is Ashmore girls 3rd, boys 8th and overall 5th

I have even sent john mckenna an email about why he hasn't post the results, but haven't yet recieved an answer that was yesterday morning

I searched the site too and unfortunately came up with nothing. I was interested in how our team from sunset was going.

oi oi mr limegreen belt :p
Their coach told them to shoot brooklyn :)

Massive Congrats to Mt Warren for winning the overall, their girls team were amazing.

As Coach of the Ashmore Youth team i would just like to say how proud i am of the whole team who finished second overall and espically the guys who finished 20 points clear of the 2nd place side.

As Adam mentioned we all witnessed one of the bravest things ive seen in a bowling centre, In the second last game one of our girls (Ash Lewis) snapped her hamstring in the fifth frame, she tryed bravely to continue for 2 more frames before we had to pull her out. Shes one very tough girl.

Also a massive thanks to everyone at Rocky bowl and Qubica AMF for the sponsorship of the youth tournament

hey brodie i was just wondering how you actually managed to get that link cause from the site www.mckenna.au.com i was not able to find anything searching the whole site???

Thanks
Richard Townsend (rockhampton bowler)

A Qualified and ASC Accredited COACH would not have allowed the injured athlete to bowl another delivery! Hence lessening the chance of making the injury worse than it was! All this proves is that Centres who send unqualified personell guised as a COACH should think long and hard about the position they are putting themselves in! As an ASC and TBA accredited COACH I have earned the privelage of wearing the word COACH on my shirt! Yet for $40 there is no law or rule preventing any unqualified or certified person from wearing the same! This has been in argument for a long time, and after this incident I hope the Board sees the error of their ways and outlaws the use of COACH by imposters asap! Finally I would like to wish Ash all the best and a speedy recovery from her injury.

just a couple of things jeff to set the record straight mate

firstly since we have got back there was a development the was NO TEAR of a muscle or any bone damage to ashleighs leg.

Secondly Ashleigh came to me after a shot and said she felt a twinge in her leg but it felt ok. There were then 2 individuals who have no qualifactions who felt the need to interfer and manupilate her leg thats when pain got worse i had to pull Ashleigh out.

Jeff you also need to get your facts straight matey I have completed a level one course coaching course and while i be honest and say it has lapsed. MY assoication was fully aware of my status and they are also fully aware of my desire to complete the course again something that will be happening in the next 6 months.
I'll also add that this "imposter" has the full support of my assoication and will be returning to rockhamption next year as Youth Coach once again.

Thanks for your concern if theres anything else you would like to know feel free to email me.

Firstly I would like to make it crystal clear, you are not my MATE!
My facts are perfectly straight, You are not an Accredited or Registered Coach, therefore you have no right to wear a shirt that says you are a COACH! ( AKA Imposter) Im glad you have an association who is prepared to back you, if the athlete decides to sue due to negligence, you are going to need all the financial backing you can get, regardless of who manipulated or aggrivated the injury, you are the one who is held liable! I am also backed by my Association that gives me a multimillion personal liability policy as part of my registration! I am glad to hear you are aspiring to reach Lvl1 and wish you all the best in your attempts to do so. As far I am concerned I have said my piece and there is no need to say any more on the subject.

I never said you were my mate i dont think i would choose to be mates with some as rude as yourself.

No wonder we struggle to get people to help out with attitudes like yours.
I ask you JEFF would it be better that no one went with them at all?????

I know most of the coaches or managers choose to fill those positions because they have kids that bowl or have had kids that bowl. I dont Jeff i choose to be involved because i see it as my way of giving something back to the sport I love and i enjoy the enthusiasm juniors and youth bowlers have for the sport.

Gee for team "coached" by an imposter they did alright didnt they
what was it 1st in the boys and 2nd overall 4 bowlers in the all star tournament and 2 all stars.

Where was your accredited coached side again?????

I think you and I both know theres other issues here and its obvious im being targeted for things that happened before i was involved with the juniors and youth at my centre.

Hey guys can you both sort it out in private messages or emails, this thread is for the kids.

Thanks in advance Kellie
