A huge congratulations to Scott Lachlan on winning the men's NQ Masters at Kirwan Lanes.
The final was a battle for the ages with the two best bowlers all tournament ( Scott and Hamish Rogers) going blow for blow throughout the two game final.
It came down to the 10th frame of the last game with Rogers needing a double to take the title, his first shot was pure and carried all 10 pins. The bowl fell silent as he stood up for the next shot and though he threw the ball great he was stopped in his tracks by a stubborn 10 pin giving Lachlan the win by a 2 pin margin.
Scott's is a great guy with more talent than most of us can only ever dream of, and this will be the first of many great bowling achievements that he will have over the next few years.
In the ladies Amanda Ebzery from Mount Isa (I hope I spelled that right), took out the ladies division from Alicia Savill from Cairns in another tightly fought contest.
