I'm coming to Brisb soon planning to meet up with Brando get some proper drilling/coaching done plus hopefully buy a new ball can't wait. Currently have a slingshot not really that happy with it not sure if the ball or me but can't seem to get much rev on it.

Brando should be able to fit you up perfect.
Slingshots are at the entry level end in regards to hook. Something in the mid range of your brand of choice (Brunswick / DV8 ?) should give you a little more snap/hook/movement.
Give us some ideas on your style; do you throw it fast, how many revs do you get, where do you feel comfortable on the lanes (way left, way right, centered?).. All these things help when looking at getting a new ball. Be sure to take the slingshot up to Brando so he can get a look at how to throw it; he should be able to make an informed decision on what ball to go with!
