Hi ABC,
They certainly will be separate for the TBAL Rankings, with each Division attracting 100 points for first, 80 points for second and so on down.
I'm not sure how AMF plan to handle their Super 6 points allocation but I suspect that whatever system they use, it will have "hairs" on it. For example, the Ladies winner only bowled 19 games compared with 33 games plus Stepladder matches for the Mens winner. Would it then be reasonable to combine the Men and Ladies on the basis of averages (with or without bonus pins)? Alternatively, AMF may award 100 points to the Winners (and so on down) in both the Mens' and Ladies' Divisions; but is that really fair considering the disparity in the numbers of bowlers - 91 Men and 26 Ladies?
As I commented in an earlier post, the same issue arises with the AMF Super 6 points for the SPC. No doubt Graham has the answer and will reveal all when he posts his "unofficial" standing lists.
