hi all, just wish to thank dino and all the staff at ipswich superbowl for a great day on saturday. after bowling on the lanes and watching alot of other bowlers i thought the condition was fair for everyone, we could all find the pocket easy enough it was just finding carry :? :? .

haven't seen the final scores as yet but once again well done to dino and all the staff.

ps. no i didn't bowl my entering ave but still enjoyed the day.

Congrats to Duncan Messenger for not only blitzing the field after two squads (ave 253.9 with Hcp, 210.7 Scr) but also bowling a great 300 in the 8th game. I hear that makes two now!

It will take some great bowling to beat that!! - GOOD LUCK.

Well done to the management & staff for a well run tournament.
Maybe next year we might see a scratch division as well??

IPSWICH OPEN CUP - RESULTS

I would like to thank all the bowlers who participated in this weekends Ipswich Open Cup. We were very pleased to have 69 bowlers and were therefore able to pay down to 23rd place with a total prize fund of $4460.

I would like to again thank our sponsors: Brunswick, Frank & Jeff Discount Tyres & Citibowl.

Also, very special thanks to Gavin Crouch who put an enormous amount of time and effort to fund raise for this tournament.

Congratulations to this year's Ipswich Open Cup winner - Duncan Messenger, who also bowled a perfect 300 game. Good on ya Duncan!
