Help the n00b! League Bowling 101

Alright folks, it's time to play "Help the n00b"!

I'm starting in a League tonight, with two other people who bowl even less often than I do, and I have no idea of how League Bowling works!

I have some vague concepts in my head about handicapped scores, percentages of averages, and sharing a pair of lanes with another team, but these are all half-formed pictures - I really have no idea what to expect.

Can someone please either give me a quick run-down of what's likely to happen, or point me at a website that will?

Mate, best person to ask will be the centre staff where you will be bowling. They will set it up and do all your scores

It's funny you say that, because that's what I did. I rocked up half an hour early with my team and just said, "Tell us what's going to happen!"

And they did. How about that.

Weird with the bowling on two lanes. Cool with the getting to throw practice balls. *shrugs*
