Good home needed

Hi All,

It is with much regret that we have to find our beloved dog a new home.
Unfortunately we just don't have the time to give him the care and attention he deserves, so we'd rather see him find a home that can.
As he is still a puppy he loves and needs lots and lots of attention, and with a little bubba in our house we are struggling to give him as much time as we used to.

He is a male poodle named Jasper and is 2 years old.
He is fantastic with kids, great nature, playful and caring. If we've been out and don't get home till late he'll run into Shontay's bedroom and check she's in bed and safe and then run down to Khynan's room do the same, then to our room to check on Tavish in his bassinet. He is house trained and knows basic commands. He is very easy to train and would thrive if he attended an obedience school.

All we are hoping is to find him a good home, so we are not looking to sell him and will send all his belongings with him.

Hi Peter,

He hasn't had a great deal of interaction with other dogs.
Mum and Dad have a border collie and he gets very playful when she comes over. She's 13 years old, so she's not very happy with him jumping all over her, although they seem to get on very well. She lets him know when he's crossed the line and usually after 20 minutes or so they both find their own little corner to relax in.

So that being said, I'd say he gets on well with other dogs, but needs to be told when to calm down!

Just wanted to say thanks to Kel for allowing us to have this post on the forum.

As a result we've found Jasper a new family and he's going to be spoilt rotten with Peter, Judy and Chris :thmbup:

We just hope he doesn't give Jake a hard time, trying to be the boss!

Well, it's been an interesting first hour lol.

Jake loves Jasper. Jasper is still a little unsure. Probably because of the sheer size of Jake. Doberman and poodle is quite the combination. I think they're gonna be great mates despite the fact that Jasper was bearing his teeth at Jake. All poor Jake wants to do is play lmao. He's just a little clumsy.

And yes Rach......Jasper chases Jake off lol. I can see a funniest home video moment in the near future.

He's gonna fit in beautifully here.
