Queenslander George Frilingos thrilled the local crowd by winning a close encounter in the Matchplay Final of the 2004 Queensland Cup held at AMF Mt Gravatt in Brisbane, Queensland this afternoon.
Frilingos held off a late charge by Jarrod Lean from New South Wales to eventually take the title by 72 pins.
