The Christian Bowling Sports Fellowship (CBSF) would like to extend an invitation for you to join the CBSF 2009, a not-for-profit annual charity tenpin bowling tournament held in AMF at Mt. Druitt, NSW.
In 2009, the tournament will kick off on the 8th of February and will run for 20 Sundays with breaks during long weekends. Now on its 6th year, it continues to provide camaraderie and fellowship among Christians, through the game of tenpin bowling. We also aim to use this event as a vehicle towards evangelism.
In 2008, we were able to provide support to the Hope Manila Mission which sponsored impoverished children in the Philippines. Your participation will enable us to continue the Christian tradition of helping the needy and the poor. The tournament proceeds will go towards the CBSF Mission Project 2009 which aims to provide various services such as dental and medical, as well as feeding and giving to selected church/groups in the Philippines.
You can be a part of this worthy mission by forming a team consisting of four to six bowlers and registering with us. It is open to all ages and a handicap system will be used giving every team an even chance of winning. You can also nominate a church group in the Philippines whom we can support for our mission project.
Awards, prizes and trophies will be given away at the end of the tournament. As a league player, you will also be handed in an AMF league card which entitles you to discounts on AMF products and services such as league practice, meals from the cafeteria, and AMF merchandise. The weekly game fee is $20 (per player) which includes the mission donation
