Dates for 2008 and Venues…Proposed dates for NEXT Year’s Total Bowling Tour...
  • Round 1 Rum City Classic in Bundaberg February 2nd and 3rd
  • Round 2 Kingaroy Classic Cup in Kingaroy March 1st and 2nd
  • Round 3 Heritage City Cup in Maryborough April 12th and 13th
  • Round 4 Harbour City Classic in Gladstone May 10th and 11th
  • Round 5 Caboolture Open in Caboolture July 5th and 6th
  • Round 6 Gympie Grand Slam in Gympie August 9th and 10th
  • Round 7 QLD Cup in Harvey Bay September 5th TO THE 7th Date HAS changed
  • Round 8 Tweed Heads (doubles) in Coolangatta Tweed November 22th and 23rd

Points to consider

  • Entry fee will be $145.00 with minimum of 12 games qualifying...
  • 25 Appearance Points will be awarded at each event that you show up too, these won’t be dropped…E.g. Bowl in all 8 events you receive 200 points to your end of year tally that can’t be taken away from you…
  • First place in all events will be $800.00 (Singles Events)...
  • 1 in 4 will get money back and 1 in 3 will cash...
  • Each Centre will have lane awards in qualifying...
  • There will be a $20.00 Joining fee or $55.00 which includes a Towel and Tour Shirt, (To be paid at check in of your FIRST event)… Must be paid to be eligible for end of year prize funds both Men and Ladies...
  • Payout will be approx 1 in 3...
  • All events will be held over Two or Three day's with some form of Match Play head to head or 3person...
  • We will try and have finals and presentation finished by 3pm if possible

To Qualify for the cash above,you must bowl in 6 of the 8 events listed (Bowl in all 8 and drop your worst two results, but you keep your appearance points)…


Points tally for end of year will be as follows.

  • 100 players Winner gets 105 points 2nd gets 99 3rd 98 all the way down to one.
  • 80 players Winner gets 85 points 2nd gets 79 3rd 78 all the way down to one.
  • 60 players Winner gets 65 points 2nd gets 59 3rd 58 all the way down to one.
  • 40 players Winner gets 45 points 2nd gets 39 3rd 38 all the way down to one.
I think the winner of the event is entitled to a 5 point bonus for the win
 
I love the different formats used.

I would like to see pin fall dropped after qualifying, Makes the tournament a whole lot harder to win, and would set up for some really exciting match play.

Next year will be bigger and better with the way the numbers are growing, adds to the atmosphere

Agreed, definatley. Maybe not for all tournaments though. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Thanks to u putting your money where your mouth is so to speak, You are helping us as bowlers and tenpin bowling as a sport in Australia. I also like the added prize fund for the ladys, I am hoping that this will add more interest from the ladys out there,It would be good to see more there to challenge us guys.

Keep up the good work Jase and I will see you at all of them It is a fun day of good bowling :D:D
