Garden City Lanes wishes to present our first tournament of the year, 2007 Disabled Garden City Classic. The tournament will be held on Sunday 4th February consisting of 2 squads.
Squads
A Squad check in is at 10am, bowling at 10.30am
B Squad check in is at 1pm, bowling at 1.30 pm
The Format
The format will be a 4 person team handicap tournament open to all disability bowlers currently bowling within a league.
Each team will play 3 games, moving after every game.
Each match will be worth 6 points, 1 point per bowler win (including h/cap), and 2 points for a team win (including h/cap). An additional 2 points will be awarded if all 6 points are won in a single match.
Bowlers highest league average will be used to determine handicaps (100% of 200 over 21 games as of 31st December).
Costs
The cost is only $80.00 per team entry ($20.00 per bowler), with lunch available at a cost of $7.50 p.p (includes meal & small drink).
Awards & Prizes
Trophies will be presented for 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed teams, for male & female high game scratch, for male & female high game with h/cap, for male & female high series scratch and for male & female high series with h/cap. Participation certificates for all bowlers will also be awarded.
