2006 South Pacific Classic - Date Change

As mentioned in previous threads the South Pacific Classic will clash with an event where the Australian Mens Team will be overseas.

After discussions with the TBA the 2006 South Pacific Classic has now been rescheduled to Friday 15th Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September (2 weeks later than its original date).

The Tournament will retain its rankings points and will use the same format as in 2005.

Any further information can be obtained via email to me at [email protected]

My apologies to those that may be inconvenienced by the date change.

AMF National Tournament Director

Tony...

A couple of years ago now, AMF centres across the country ran "win a spots" for the different zones for the SPC. I remember at the time, bowlers on this forum were advised to keep an eye out for new and improved variations to the "win a spot" tournies, and that they were to commence a lot earlier in the year.

Last year there were no such events, and SPC was simply a pay as you go event.

Now that things seem to have settled down a bit following the Macquarie thing, will we see the national "win a spot' tournies come back for the SPC?

Thanks for the info Tony, about the date change. I am sure this will please a number of bowlers.

Thanks Tony,

This is well in advance and I congratulate the organisers for the early notice.

Christian
