Will be similar format to 2002 tournament, but held over 2 days to allow additional qualifing squads. (not 1 at 6 to a pair)

Group 2 Prize fund (handicap) is the same except 5th is $145.

Highest placed non-qualifying Female and Highest placed non-qaulifying Junior receive $50 each.

It is based on 50 entries, pay out 1 in 3.

Format
=====
- Each squad will contain a max of 20 bowlers.
- Squads must be booked with Mentone Bowl and $50 non-refundable deposit paid to secure your position/sqaud.
- Limit of 1 entry per bowler.
- All bowlers will bowl 8 games in their allocated squad. Change every 2 game block.
- Top 10 bowlers (scratch) will contest 9 rounds of Match Play for Group 1 prize fund.
- After the top 10 scratch bowlers have been decided the remaining bowlers will be re-graded with handicap. The top 10 bowlers with handicap will contest 9 rounds of Match Play for Group 2 prize fund.
- In Match Play, 30 bonus pins for a win, 15 bonus pins for a draw and no bonus pin for a loss.
- All games in Group 1 will be scratch games.
- All games in Group 2 will be handicap games.
- The format is based on 50 entries. If insufficent entries are received the Tournament Committee reserves the right to modify the format and prize funds accordingly.

9am - 9:30am A Squad check in
1:30pm - 2:00pm B Squad check in
6pm - 6:30pm C Squad check in
11:30pm Top 10 Finalists for both Groups announced

Schedule - 27th April 2003
11am - 11:15am Top 10 for both Groups check in
11:30am Match Play begins
4:30pm Presentation

Should give yourselves some more credit, the tournament is better than a 1/3 in payout. Its 5 places short of a 1/2 payout
 
You're right Milkman. It is closer to 1 in 2 payout than 1 in 3.

Also, the last squad (C) will be filling very quickly. Esp those will be bowling both AO and coming back for this tournament as well :D .

Speaking of the Anzac Day Marathon at Werribee the list of teams entering is filling so don't miss out and get in early.
