What was your experience at your bowling centre when you wanted to join the TBA?

I have been the League Secretary for my league for the last 4 years and the response has been the same each year from most of the league. The usual suspects don't care and just pay it, but only after a couple of weeks of playing fun and games with me. **rolls eyes**

    Anthony Marshall - 300

I would like to say a big congratulations to Tony for bowling his first 300 at Caboolture on Sunday night! On behalf of the Sunday NiteOwls I'd like to say we're very proud of your achievement and glad that you have been such justly rewarded for the excellent form you've been since the start of...

    How did we survive?

How did we survive? Looking back, it's hard to believe that we actually lived as long as we have. My mum used to cut chicken, chop eggs and spread mayonnaise on the same cutting board with the same knife (and no bleach!) but we didn't get food poisoning. My mum used to defrost hamburger...

    Kingaroy Junior Classic Cup

Wide Bay is usually attended by the regulars and most don't know about it until it arrives at their local centre, hence why everyone south of Caboolture hasn't really heard about it. Entry forms in the past did't come out or just before the tournament, but I hear they have been sent out earlier...

Buy at Woolworths for drought relief

If they really want to help the farmers, they should pay them a little bit more for their goods. Woolworths can afford it and still be ahead of the others. It would be far better than this tokenism.

Should we realy be made drink recycled Sewage Water

Current sewerage treatments remove almost all toxic wastes such as "Drano", organophosphates, detergents, solvents, disinfectants, etc. Using reverse osmosis, all those things are removed from the water. There is 1 part of "non-H2O" for every 1 000 000 000 000 000 parts of H2O for water...

Should we realy be made drink recycled Sewage Water

Yes desalination consumes extreme amounts of energy but that can be overcome without nuclear energy. The desalination plant at Landers Shute on the Sunshine Coast harnesses hydro electricity which provides more than enough energy to power the plant with some left over.

Should we realy be made drink recycled Sewage Water

I agree with everything that Chowny has said. The biggest problem is the perception, this is already happening in many European countries, USA and some Asian countries. Here are some facts: Fact 1: The process used will be the same as what is being installed at the Tugun desalination...

    Do something about fuel prices

I guess I should of made the point in my last post that future fuel prices is only part of the future's problem but my post was long enough anyway and I wasn't really thinking of stuff other than oil. It will be frightening to see what happens when India and China start to consume the...

    Do something about fuel prices

It is my opinion that things like petrol isn't priced according to its true cost. For many years fuel has been consistently cheap, it was and still is, to a certain extent, treated like it has a never-ending supply but now the fuel companies are aware of how much oil is left and what are they...

    stupid shots

Last time I was at Rocky, I left a 5-8-10. I spared it by hitting the 8pin, the 8pin flung back hitting the back board, bounces back and knocks the 10 pin which then rolled round to take out the 5pin. Everyone there knew I had the spare in the bag....... cough cough lol.

    Knowing When Your Ready

A good place to start are championships- local, state, national, they are graded so everyone can bowl and have a chance to bowl competivitely against bowlers who are at the same level as you. They give you a chance to do a lot of bowling on sometimes unfamiliar conditions which you will gain...
