East Coast Challenge Cup - Whats it All About?

Folks, if you have another look at the original post you will see that it is NOT a requirement that you bowl a TQI league. You do need to be a "sports registered player", ie TQI or TBA and pay a tournament registration fee at the championships if you are not a TQI member - but you do not have to...

    Redcliffe City Open

I would also like to cogratulate Darren & all the crew at Redcliffe for another great tournament. The two constants every year in the "RCO" are the high scores & the smooth running of the tournament... Did I say "High scores"??... These were MASSIVE!! Particularly qualifying scores from "A"...

What do people think about Females getting handicaps in events?

I think that the days of requiring a powerful shot to score are drawing to a close, if not already gone and as a result, the gap should be closing. I can only aspire to be half the player that some of our top women already are, & I'm pretty sure that I can throw the ball as strongly as at least...

Thanks to everybody for their kind wishes. Mum & bub are both doing great. The little guy is absolutely perfect - There's a totally unbiased opinion for you... - fortunately, he's better looking than his old man. Tina & Thomas will be home tomorow, so I'm looking at my last solid night's...

    Visionary Frankie May Gryphon

I've had my "Frankie" drilled to the 1:30 Leverage position as I was after a hard arcing ball for medium oil conditons. I'd have to agree with Andrew - This is a whole lot of ball! I took one look at the 400 grit box finish & went straight to the spinner to take the surface to something I...

Other Favourite Ball of All Time

Columbia Beast, had 5 of them. Didn't like the pearl but the solids were the most predictable balls in the bag. But it looks like my new Visionary "Violet Gargoyle" is going to leave them for dead in terms of consistency & hitting power!

East Coast Challenge Cup - Whats it All About?

There has been plenty of back & forth banter in this forum, and references to the competition being a "closed shop" affair. Maybe information about how you can be a part of this fantastic competition next year may help?? The requirements for eligibility selection in the Tenpin Queensland...
