A bowling magazine is a great idea, BUT before you get too carried away with planning the content, research very carefully how you are going to get the magazine "out there". A big problem is going to be distribution to get your magazine to the bowlers, and its just not a matter of walking...

Is there somebody who is a "national co-ordinator of tournaments"? It is very hard when forward planning for a tournament to pick a date that does not eventually clash with another event. For instance, I am trying to co-ordinate an event next year for seniors to take place in another country...

This is a wonderful post, with the words of Walt in mind, I still have 20 years to go! Walt's words are inspiring. Obviously the Forum is very wide reaching and its membership ever increasing - as is the Senior Bowling fraternity in Australia. Seniors are "older" not OLD! :D

Is this the best you can do? Last time I bowled in a "Moonlight Bowl", we started at 10pm, split into 4 groups which "rotated". We bowled for 2 hours, watched horror movies for 2 hours, and "set pins" for 2 hours then bowled for 2 hours consuming quite a few beers during this epic marathon...
