X Games Bowling Demo Match this weekend @ Rooty Hill

Hi Guys, I would like to say a special thanks to Pete for putting on the Demo after SS#6. Lindsay and myself had a crack. I have to say it was a lot of fun, the format puts a lot of pressure on each shot. The good thing is the entertainment value of the format, both bowlers are engaged in...

    Where do you target?

OK, First of all let me start by saying, Geoff, that's funny. Ok, as a junior I found I could not hit the side of a barn to save myself. As an adult I now understand why, I am so one eye dominate that I need to aim 4 boards right of what I want to hit. So I aim for the arrows ( well the...

Hey Jason, Nice ball, great reaction. Mo does it again and another great video from yourself, thanks for the effort on the reviews. Question though, how many times did you turn around and just go "WOW"?

Columbia Bully x 2 with Bag

Hi Guys, This is about to sound odd, but Dad has asked me to sell his balls as he no longer requires them. He has two Columbia Bully's, both drilled to around 13.8 pounds. One has 8 games on it ( right hand ball in pictures ) the other has not seen a lane yet. Dad came and bowled twice...

The Lesson is Always the Same

Thanks Guys, My weekend routine this last few weeks has been to bowl 8 practice games every Saturday. Throw the plastic at the pin I want to hit with my first shot, then spare whats ever is left. After a few weeks of doing this the spare shooting is better but still alway to go.

The Lesson is Always the Same

Hi All, I sit back after every event and evaluate how I went, looking at how to improve and start planning for the next event. Basically looking at the performance I put up, evaluating the reason for not reaching my goals for the event. So, with that said, Bathurst Pit Stop has come and...

    Bowling Shoe Advice

Finding the right size shoe is going to be a pain. Not many in stock so ordering online will be required via the guess-a-size process. My SST8's are a size 10M, dad's are a SST8 size 10M but are like standing in the boxes the shoes came in. How wide do the soles have to be to make you stable...

    Bowling Shoe Advice

Thanks for all of your help guys. Some great advice in here for Dexter owners also. Definately pulling the sole from the back. I am toe dragger and wear then out. the advice of cutting the soles slightly bigger is excellent. would have saved these shoes I think. Again, thank you.

    Bowling Shoe Advice

Hi Guys, Of those of you that have tried both Dexter and 3G/Dyna-Rooz, how do the sizes compare. Are they the same between the Dexters and Dyna's as my dexters are actual one size smaller than my Nike or Acics runners. Shouldn't really call them runners as I am never in that much of a hurry.

    Bowling Shoe Advice

Thanks for all of the great advice guys and gals. Mick, that is a good bit of advice on the soles for dexters, may very well save a few SST8 users. Jason, you know i am a sucker for retro, maybe some Linds in brown and gold...now that would be stylin'. The 3G look like a great option. Just...

    Bowling Shoe Advice

G'Day Having a read last night and found a thread on another forum that mention Etonic are discontinuing their bowling shoes. Has anybody else heard of that?

    Bowling Shoe Advice

Hi Guys, Linds were great, I gave my original set away to a fellow bowler about six months ago, got them when I was about 18, stopped bowling at 20 and the bloody things bearly had a mark on them. Unlike me, I got bigger and they no longer fit. I did try to find some of the adjustable sole...

    Bowling Shoe Advice

Hi All, Been a while since I have had the time to be on here. Getting close to the end of my third year back in bowling. Since being back I have had two sets of Dexter SST8's and worn the toe, velcro side, of the two pairs causing the soles to lift. But oddly it is the slide foot I am...

Storms Belmo shoots an increcible set to lead the US Open

One game final for a Major is tough. Best of three would be nice for the number 1 seed. But still, great effort by Jason, he is still young and will get another crack to turn the tables.

    R.I.P. Ruth Guerster

Really sad to hear that news. Ruth was a real champion on and off the lanes.

Storms Belmo shoots an increcible set to lead the US Open

Hey rob, I was just about the post the same thing. Watching all of the lines, then WRW stands up and through down 1 board. That is tough. How sweat is Belmo's shot, some of guys are looking good on the pattern, but then you see Belmo's shot and it is head and shoulders above the rest. Pretty...
