Seeking Ball - Heavy Oil Conditions

Forget the Nsane LevRG, Morich have just released Ntense LevRG which is Morich's best ball to date because it has a textured version of the RDX coverstock and an updated EZ-Rev Core and is designed for heavy oil.

    Looking For Ball Spinners

I've thought of making one one but it's not that simple because of the motor and circuitry. You've gotta plan out out the circuit schematics and also figure out what sort of motor you want to use (i.e. a DC powered motor or a single or multi-phase AC motor). On the other hand if you don't know...

Difference between Pro CG and Pro Pin

I found some info on it from bowlingball.com Pro CG - http://www.bowlingball.com/info/Pro_CG_explanation.html Pro Pin - Since the breakthrough of fine tuning reaction characteristics by use of the mass bias (MB) placements in the 1990's, large pin out balls have been a staple for many Pro...

I wonder where AMF balls has gone?

That does answer my question pretty well and I do like the pre-Ebonite stuff because I'm the proud owner of a Columbia 300 Beast Pearl :D What's the website to buy the AMF balls and also, what's a good AMF arsenal for a 2-handed bowler like myself on dry and medium lanes?

I wonder where AMF balls has gone?

For a over 40 years in bowling, AMF has been one of the iconic brands in bowling. Some of the legends of the game like Dick Weber used their equipment and yours truly first ball was an AMF. So, this led me to ask some questions: Is it just me or has AMF pretty much disappeared off the radar...

    Stroker Vs Cranker

    Rev Rate and Ball Speed

Well, i have been hearing complaints about that the black widow bite doesn't have a long lifespan. Most owners of this particular ball tell me that it goes dead after about 50 or so games because it soaks up oil like crazy. Also, it is a speed sensitive ball and needs an aggressive drilling. If...

2 handed questions (inc. img oil tracks)

Thanks! That does solve the mystery why my speed is low and why I keep missing left. I'm not sure if you're a Hammer fan or not but getting a weaker ball such as a Brunswick Power Groove, Columbia Scout or Storm's Tropical Storm for dry conditions. If you want to stick with Hammer, try getting...

    Gripping of ball

I disagree. What my coach taught me when I wanted to get more revs on the ball was to VISUALISE yourself ripping out the finger inserts on the release. Therefore, in physical terms, meaning to create a strong lifting action with the fingers. Furthermore, it won't throw him off balance provided...

    Gripping of ball

I don't think the palm up approach works for trying to hook the ball. It seems like you're bowling straight balls. At the time of release, your hand position should resemble something close to holding a briefcase. Another handy tip to promote revs/hook is to think that you're trying to rip out...

2 handed questions (inc. img oil tracks)

Slayer, Being a two-hander myself I can tell you that the oil rings you're getting that resemble a cranker's ball flare is normal simply because the two-handed style is pretty much a modified cranker. The only difference is that you get the same result with less effort compared to our...

    Grip

As far as I know, you have to have at least 1 finger in the ball and the other finger/thumb holes have to be covered with the other fingers.

    New Shoe Soles

Master Bowling make this powder called "Easy Slide". You just put a few dabs on the sole of the shoe helps you slide. The problem why it's not sliding is because humidity has got to the sole and that powder mops up any moisture. You could experiment with baby powder as well.
