Well i'm trying to find a half decent ball as a first ball, I have been bowling in league a couple seasons now and trying to start to get the ball to spin far more, etc though never actually had a ball. So if anyone has a decent 14lb ball that they would be willing to sell, please contact me :)

Yeah, well i sent an email to AMF, i guess i shall see what they say, i guess i can't really blame the centre themself

So my question is, is it worth my effort trying to sell it here or on eBay? And if so, how much would i likely to get for it or how much should i try to get?

Well i don't i have my own ball, i just use the lane bowls .. usually use anything from 11lb to 14lb.. though i think i tend to feel more comfortable with the lower range of that scale, 11/12lb

Why do the balls tend to be 14lb - 16lb, that are for sale in the Second Hand Gear Classifieds? Perhaps i'm using too light a ball, how do you determine what weight to use, is it purely feel or is there more to it? I guess thats two questions ..

Im kinda starting to take bowling seriously, though i don't know i look at the pro shop .. and their shoes are still about $100 up, i don't think i really want to pay that much *dunno*

I was just wondering are you able to get gloves for bowling, something like those used for golf ... more for grip than anything else? :confused:
