Just out of curiosity...if you already have a trip booked for one of the weekends that SBT is on and it cannot be changed, but you also wish to nominate for a state team, is there some kind of an exemption that you can apply for?

Warrawong closed its doors in 2005 when AMF bought out Illawarra/Strikezone. Shellharbour closed in early 2003, and its lanes and machines were relocated to Illawarra/Strikezone, which opened about 1 or 2 months after Shellharbour closed.

With Virgin you can pre purchase 23kg per passenger for $12...otherwise it will be $40 at the airport. If you take a 3 ball tote, that will be about 22 - 23kgs. I am not sure about other airlines, but with Virgin, you can only buy the 23kg once, other than that pay excess or post your gear.
