What's harder? 300 or 800?

Don't hold back!!
Don't remember if this has been discussed before, but what do you think. 300 game or 800 series?

Personnally I have never had an 800, but have had the good fortune to have bowled a few 300s.

I know a few people who have bowled both and without exception they have more 300s than 800s, in most cases many more.

So, it seems that an 800 is harder, but what do you think?

800 is meant to be harder but I was talking with a local bowler Neil Donnelly a few weeks back and he actually has more 800's than 300's, hot about that one.

i know 800 is meant to be harder but i had 3 800's before i bowled my first 300.but i now have more 300's than 800's.maybe its just your first 300 is hardest.

I would have to say 800 harder to achieve.

I've bowled 3 - 300's, but only 1 - 800.

I reckon it's a little easier to be consistent for 12 shots (10 frames) to get the 300, than it is to stay consistent for 30 Frames

There is also more pin carry or lane carrydown issues involved with 30 frames than 10.

I would have to say 800, without doubt.

I have 2 300's, but haven't managed a 800 (have been close!)

Since i'm in retirement at present .... that elusive 800 could be a while away!

I haven't really come close to 300 at all .. but I was only 3 pins away from 800 .. so I dunno

probably rolling a 300, but both require alot of concentration. If your on a 300 roll and you know it, theres alot more pressure, because you want to nail the 300, but when it comes to an 800, most people dont worry bout it till it happns.
