what is a good ball for med-heavy oil?

The market has been inundated with these particular bowling balls here in Australia. The lane conditions are condusive of this. The above mentioned equipment, are all very good arsenal for the individuals using them.So it can be difficult to be impartial.
Ball speed is a major factor, so to is your track management (wrist rotation). So many variables involved with selecting the right bowling ball for you.If your still undecided........Versitility will be your greatest asset!
Once again you have a large variety of manufacturers to select from.
Select a ball that has low-medium Rg and med Rg diff.Basically you're searching for a ball that may hook up earlier on the wet lanes and continually hook in a predictable manner.
Off the top of my head.....two bowling balls fit in that particular category, are the Frankie May Gryphon(may need polish or a buff) or the Violet Gargoyle.
They both have the two ingredients that you are looking for.......versitility and control.
If that ball speed of yours is too slow, most reactive coverstocks will over react due to the aggressiveness of the coverstocks. If your ball speed was slightly faster, you could just about throw any ball on the market.
Several profile bowlers in Brisbane,(Brian Pilkington,Dale Stewart,Greg Kelly, and Jason Pearson)are now or will be using these particular Visionary bowling balls, and are having major success with them.
Good luck in selecting the right gear for you.
