I voted Viper....Im all for challenging ourselves....but seriosuly how many of us have bowled on a sports pattern here in Perth??

Lets start out not tough but not easy either.....

how about tryin something different and a little more competitive. try 2 different patterns. bowl 5 games then re-oil and put another pattern down. 5 games long and 5 games short.
ideas???

That is always a great option for future sports series events. For the first event it's probably best to stick to one pattern, something not too hard yet not too easy.

My thoughts exactly.....There is very few bowlers in Perth who would have encountered a Sport Type Pattern.....We dont need to scare them off after the first event......

AGE - Agree with changing patterns....As the bowlers get used to the idea of the sport pattern there will be many options we can go with.....

We (Kelmscott) can start laying some sports patterns on a sunday, if there is enough interest to do so.

Just so that everyone knows, only bowlers whos names are down to bowl this event, will have their votes counted, so we have the BOWLERS choice of pattern. At this stage, I believe the VIPER Pattern is going to be laid, however with 4 days left to vote, anything can happen.

Cheers Guys
