Hi all I was just wondering if anyone had any info on this years Sydney Cup. I have a few from over here interested and want to come over. We have heard that this event may not be going ahead is this so?

As far as I know Sydney Cup is being held from the 30th Sept - 2nd October this year at Bankstown.
Could quite possibly be the last one ever, so if we can get as many people coming over for it as possible, it will be a great event.

Sorry my computer has been down.
As already mentioned Dyno-Thane will be sponsoring this years event. The tournament has been named the '2006 Dyno-Thane Junior Sydney Cup.'
Dates: 30th September, 1st & 2nd october
Venue: Bankstown
Cost: $175.00
Deposit: $75.00
4 squads A,B,C,D
The entry forms will be available next week. I will email all bowlers who gave me their details at the nationals(including Dion)

In regards to this being the last year its the last year at Bankstown Bowl
the tournament will continue to run as usual next year, different venue.

Hi guys and girls, just an update for those bowlers who want to know more about the handicap awards and squad listing.
There are handicap awards to encourage the lower average bowlers who do not make the cut.
There will be 6 Handicap awards for bowlers who do not qualify for matchplay.
Bowlers handicaps will be based on 100% of 200.
First placed boy & girl will win a Dyno-Thane Ball, 2nd & 3rd placed boy & girl will receive $100.00.
Graeme will post a squad list shortly we are waiting for entry forms & deposits to confirm spots. At this stage C squad is full with 5 reserves.
D squad has 6 spots left so get your entries in ASAP as A & B squads are filling up fast.
