Qld State Teams

11.) Will Rachuig Bowlers Seniors and restricted Bowl Together?
a. Yes. Our goal is 3 players per lane Change Lanes Each Game Changing Lineup each Game. While this may not see bowlers move the traditional 1 pair to the right one pair to the left if will replicate Rachuig Lane Changes more accurately. It will also ensure that bowlers are changed around in the line up so as not to bowl all there games together.

12.) With there only being 12 lanes at the Northern Zone Roll off and the Teams Being Restricted to 3 what happens if there is more than 38 Bowlers...? " Direct Quote " You Know who you are? "
a. Firstly 3 per lane is 36 bowlers if there is 12 lanes. Secondly If the number of bowlers warrants it we will have to
have a couple of teams with 4 per lane.

P.S.. I am Sure it was a Typo.

With a matter of days remaining before nominations close for the 2009 Qld representative teams, this post is aimed at those bowlers who have, are intending to, or still thinking about, nominating for more than one team!

As stated on the TBAQ website, and the entry form, a minimum deposit of $50 is required with all entries. The total costs you then incur on the day of the rolloff are made up of the following:

You are required to pay nomination fees for the teams you are applying for, ie Rachuig ($60) and Seniors ($40), a total of $100 in nomination fees. Your deposit monies come off that total, ie paid $50, balance remaining $50. You then pay the lineage fees - however you only pay one lot . Using the example above, rolling for both Senior and Rachuig teams, you would pay the Rachuig lineage total of $100, as the Rachuig rolloff is over both days. Your scores for the first 10 games count as your Seniors roll off scores, as the first day of Rachuig is also the roll off day for Seniors. The same principle applies if you are rolling for Seniors and Restricted - 2 lots of nomination fees, ($80 less deposit) but only one lot of roll off monies, and you only bowl ONCE - you will bowl Saturday in the Seniors roll off and your scores from that roll off will then be used as your restricted scores. The appropriate handicap will be added to the 10 game total, and added to those of the bowlers who are only rolling off for the restricted team.

Similarly, on the off chance that someone may nominate for all 3 teams, 3 lots of nomination fees are payable, but only the Rachuig lineage is paid, and you bowl both days. Saturdays' scores will be Seniors results, Sundays scores (plus handicap) will be Restricted, and of course, both days will be Rachuig.

There has been some confusion re this, and bowlers who have sent too much money in with their nomination forms have been sent out refund cheques and adjustment invoices with their receipts from TBAQ.

ALL BOWLERS ARE REMINDED THAT WHILST TBA REGISTRATION NUMBERS FOR 2009 HAVE YET TO BE ISSUED, THEY MUST BRING THEIR STUB RECEIPTS TO THE ROLL OFFS AS VERIFICATION THAT THEY HAVE PAID FOR 2009 MEMBERSHIP.

To those of you who haven't quite gotten around to lodging their entries yet....NOW IS THE TIME!

11.30 on Saturday is your right handed and 12.30 if your left (thats what I've been told anyway :D)
