Hi all.

First day of the Championships is today at Aspley Bowl.

We are running a singles and doubles squads at 4.00pm and 5.15pm today for anyone interested.

Plenty of lanes available, so come and have a crack.

Interesting Peter -

two of my seniors' bowlers have booked for doubles today at 2.45, followed by singles at 4pm, and as far as I am aware, they have received no notification that the 2.45pm squad has been cancelled.......considering that they are travelling up from the Gold Coast, shouldn't they have been notified by someone before now that the squad had been cancelled??? I know that I haven't received any notification, and I organised the seniors' squads.......

Squads for next Saturday are pretty full now ... so if you are looking to put a late entry in, you might want to have a go today or next Friday.

Some good bowling today at Aspley.

Tony Hamilton threw 719 to lead the Open singles.

Linda Green threw 731 in a doubles pairing with Kylie Lack.

Will post results when i gettem.
