Oiling Lanes and Cleaning

G'day
Excuse the ignorance of this

But the machine (looks like an over sized typewritter in its box, D for those under 25 typewriters is a manual word processor ) that oils a lane the is manually set up on the lane and then moved to the next - Does this machine wash/clean the lane & then oil it without having change machine from cleaning fluid to oil?
OK Grumpy or Liz fill me in?

They generally oil and wash at the same time. Separate tanks for oil and cleaner, they wash at the front of the machine and oil at the back.

Ask the tech to show you next time you see them oiling. Most people are quite happy to show off their oiling machine to bowlers.
