MENTONE CUP Final Results

CONGRATULATIONS to DWAYNE VIVIAN the 2012 Mentone Cup Champion.
The young 20 year old power lefty from Geelong led from start to finish, averaging 233 for the tournament.
221 average was needed to make the Cut of 16.

69 bowlers started yesterday, with 14 ladies including one from Singapore, 5 seniors and unfortunately only 2 interstaters - thankyou to Chris Thomas from ACT and Carl Quaremba from South Australia for bowling.

Ondrej Hedi won the bowling ball (Ebonite Pursuit) for the highest non cashing Senior.

NB It was great to see a couple of SENIOR bowlers doing well. Local Charlie Nagle and the quiet Steve Toth both making the Matchplay section.

The highest 3 non cutting ladies who won $200 each were Dena Buxton, Nell Kieseker and Shannon Elso.

Hey mate the tournament was run extremely well, its the reason I keep coming back. Cant wait for next years.
