Bowling Tragic
Last night I returned to my league after a prolonged injury rehab. What suffered most from the inactivity was my approach, as I couldn't seem to put enough trust in my slide to actually get to the line. It culminated in more of an abrupt stop, well short of the foul line which caused me to tug every shot. This lasted thru the entire first game, a disappointing 177, with a first frame strike followed by 8 consecutive spares and ending with a 6-7 split leaving the 10th frame open.

Game two saw more of the same and then I made a slight change to my targeting which brought about a flashy 6 bagger, culminating in a solid 232 game. I still wasn't comfortable with my slide, but was slowly getting back into form.

Continuing on in the third game, I ended the night's scoring with a solid 238 game.

What does all this prove???
It just goes to show how much the sport has deteriorated in the last couple of years. My 648 series was worthy of about a 520 on a challenging condition.
